Manufacturing Plant

The NUFORM manufacturing plant is equipped with advanced Europe machinery and technology. We are the first in Asia to use the single-opening short cycle HPL press which imported from Germany pioneering this single daylight system, a maximum of two sheets of laminate per change proves to be beneficial. Not only does it save the time of changing plate but it also gives a better quality control on laminate quality & thus, enables to maintain the consistency of NUFORM product.

Laboratory Application.
Another added advantage of this system is that it produces mirror high gloss HPL and has the ability to manufacture in thicker and bigger sizes.

Table Top Application.

This factory has its own Resin Blending and doing system & single-bath double coating impregnation & drying line. It comprising of a horizontal two stage treater which can impregnate the paper and apply aluminums peroxide in the same process. The treater can run with either phenol resins for core papers or melamine for face papers, simply by changing the resin vat.
The full HPL line is completed with Italy panel saw comprised diamond circular & scoring blade to produce a range of cut sizes for furniture manufacturers and others, giving Kiara Kristal's production more flexibility. There is also a double end tenoner by GMC of Italy to trim the laminate. Also available is a Switzerland sander which roughens the reverse of laminate when required.

The factory facility's versatility is its most important feature, allowing the supply of short and long runs of HPL,solid HPL and Compact Laminates up to 25 mm or thicker for architectural panels in addition to thin overlay grades. Panel sizes go up to 6 ft x 14 ft - the kind of flexibility usually only available from Europe or the USA - which can mean weeks or months for delivery to Asia, while the plant takes only one week or so. The company is targeting the domestic market and the ASEAN countries, Australia, Japan and Korea.

The capacity of the factory is around 49,500 sheets, or 330,000 square metres, per month on a 0.8 mm basis, so there should be plenty of room in the market for this new, flexible production facility.
